𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 Facilitating trade has been one of our core activities since 1923 when we began issuing Certificates of Origin (COs) as an authorized operator of Singapore Customs. The Chamber is also Singapore’s national guaranteeing and issuing association for the ATA Carnet, the passport for goods. This internationally recognized Customs document allows exhibitors, commercial travellers and professionals to export goods for temporary periods without the need to pay import duties and taxes at the destination ports. We provide these services to Chamber members and non-members alike and our team is always ready to support you and your business. For more information, please visit https://lnkd.in/gjm2CPcK. You can also contact the team at +65 6500 0950 or email certification@sicc.com.sg. One other way in which we help our members, customers and their service providers in the freight forwarding and shipping industry is by conducting quarterly seminars on the application processes for COs & the ATA Carnet. We want to save you time and money which is why we provide information on how to avoid the most common application mistakes. For CO seminars, you will also get the chance to learn more about the blockchain-enabled eCO system we have jointly developed with GUUD Company. Similarly, in the case of the ATA Carnet, you will also learn more about the e-application system we have jointly developed with KENZAP. Seats are limited! 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 Later this week many of us will celebrate Christmas. Like all major festivals it is a time for family and friends, for giving and receiving presents, for feasting and for fun. It is also a religious festival. Sometimes this is forgotten amongst the tinsel, lights and the materialism with which far too many people are enthralled. The true meaning of Christmas is the promise of goodness, of hope, of light and of service to others all personified by a child born over two thousand years ago. Our world is in dire need of goodness, hope, light and service to others. This Christmas, let us all pray and wish that leaders everywhere find the grace and the wisdom to serve others not themselves; to lead with dignity, decency, honesty and integrity. To not ride the anger but collaborate to find solutions to problems. To strive to do good and to harm no-one. These are the corporate, political and religious leaders the world needs. These are the leaders companies, voters and the religious organizations should ensure attain power. Everyone has a responsibility to act wisely in order to do and achieve good. My team and I wish everyone who celebrates Christmas a joyful celebration with loved ones and friends and a rededication to actioning the real meaning of Christmas every day of the year. We also wish every one of you and your families happy holidays and a restorative break from work. Enjoy and spread the light. Banish the darkness by your actions every day of the year. Everyone expects Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase its influence but what is it? How do we make it work for us? What happens if we do not use AI? When is the right time to employ it? What will this mean for businesses in Asia Pacific and what is the economic outlook? Guest speakers Hans van der Goes, CEO and Iain Bonner-Fomes, CCO of KEY to AI will present you with a guide on how to navigate the future AI world, unlock the door to it and answer the questions no-one ever seems to answer but that everyone expects everyone else to know. This is your opportunity to hear how to grow your business, improve the future of your company and, for every SME, to remove the glass ceiling and barriers to entry while growing exponentially. It's exciting times and the best place to start is not where you think it is! Register here: https://cvent.me/e5GbrG #SICCEvents #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #navigateAI #economicoutlook
