Over the weekend, the NETS team came together to organise a Health Carnival in partnership with HealthServe Ltd for migrant workers in Singapore. It was a Saturday well-spent as we supported and promoted the well-being of 550 migrant brothers through basic health check ups, dental hygiene education and more. We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute back to society. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this event a success! #connectingcommunitiesempoweringlives #netscare #charity #migrantworkers

It's a wrap for Day 2 at SFF! We are excited to announce our rollout plans for the interoperable Singapore Quick Response Code Scheme (SGQR+), bringing the total number of acceptance points to over 35,000. This milestone was marked by a lively panel discussion on the impact of SGQR+ to merchants and consumers. The session was moderated by our Group CEO, Lawrence Chan and joined by Sukhvinder Singh from Maybank, Etienne N. from Weixin Pay and Miguel Pereira from ZOOMOOV. Under this scheme, customers of 18 participating payment schemes and issuers will be able to pay by scanning the SGQR label displayed at merchants. With NETS, merchants only need to maintain one commercial arrangement to accept these payments. The technical 'live' will be completed by Q4 2024 and rollout will be fully completed by Q2 2025. We had the privilege of conducting an informative Digital Literacy workshop for students from APSN Tanglin School, introducing them to digital payments and the various ways to pay. To put what they’ve learnt into practice, we brought them on a Learning Journey to nearby shops and guided them with a hands-on experience through making purchases. It was a memorable experience empowering these young minds. Thank you to our volunteers who participated and embodied the Power of We! #NETS #ConnectingCommunities #charity #PowerofWE
