  • This season of giving, we look back at our recent MW for Good, McCann Worldgroup Singapore’s quarterly volunteer initiative, where we spent a fulfilling day creating meaningful memories with children from underserved communities. McCann volunteers joined the kids for a fun-filled adventure at BOUNCE, followed by a heartwarming back-to-school shopping spree. At McCann Worldgroup, we’re proud to continue giving back to the community and making a positive impact in the lives of others.   • McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific launched our latest Truth Central study — the Truth About Ascending Asia — at the ACM (Asian Civilisations Museum) recently to over 70 clients, partners and media. Our Chief Strategy Officer, Shilpa Sinha presented the study that captured insights from over 12,000 people over 12 markets, 44 expert interviews, and more than 100 hours of social listening, highlighting how Asia is poised to enter a transformative era, characterised by the emergence of the "Asian Dream", defined by the convergence of socio-economic shifts, technological advancements, and cultural evolution. Shilpa says, "While Asian societies are still navigating the challenges of inequality, instability and insufficiencies, the study reinforces the faith of Asian people in a future that is better and brighter."   • Did you know that Sharity was created by McCann Worldgroup? As we celebrate Sharity’s 40th year this week, we look back on the first ever Sharity character that we’ve worked on with Community Chest Singapore way back in 1984 to celebrate Children’s Day. The mascot now familiar and dear to Singaporeans, was created by one of our copywriters, inspired by combining “share” and “charity”, values that Community Chest wishes our children to emulate. The concept was then first sketched by a student from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and was later modified by the agency’s artist. Sharity has then been featured in multiple materials of Community Chest over the years, together with friends like Lanky Giraffe, Lavender Lamb and Mick Monkey! #TruthAboutOurWork #advertising #marketing #throwback #anniversary
