Welma is stationed on one of our energy clients’ rigs in #Angola, as an offshore nurse. Her job consists of providing medical care for employees on the rig, holding health awareness sessions, managing the site clinic, and providing medical evacuation support in case of emergencies. “Although you are alone on the site, you never feel lost as there is support from the wider International SOS team, and especially our 24/7 Assistance Centre in case of an emergency. It feels great to see the offshore team everyday and tend to their healthcare needs; they are like my family away from home.” To learn more about how we support clients in Angola, click here: https://okt.to/7ulvFX #offshore #healthcare

Mental health is a critical issue affecting everyone, but men often face unique challenges in seeking support.
