Qurratulaini Bte Mohd Salam contacted us through a cold email last year about a UI/UX role at Hipster Inc. when we were not actively hiring for UI/UX. We liked the profile and gave her a design to-do assessment. Surprisingly, she went one step ahead and did more than what we requested. We immediately started an internship with her for 6 months since her UI/UX experience slightly differed from what we were looking for. She worked very hard, and we converted her to a full-time position in 4 months despite the initial agreement of 6 months. She levelled herself up for every opportunity we gave her. Within seven months of joining the company, she brainstormed gamified apps for top airports worldwide and designed complex F&B interfaces. All she needed was an opportunity. This post celebrates hardworking people who need an opportunity to shine. She is a K-pop fan, and if a Korean song is playing in the office, it's probably from her computer. Here’s what he had to say as his time here comes to an end. 🎓✨ Dynamic and Varied Job Scope 🔄🌐 "My job scope was always dynamic and engaging. I had the opportunity to contribute to different stages of the client acquisition funnel, from initial outreach to the execution of the product demo, as well as the development of proposals. In doing so, I got to work with prospects and clients hailing from various industries and countries. Additionally, aside from my business development responsibilities, I was also exposed to certain aspects of project management and UI/UX development, creating a varied and growth-filled experience. Not only did I gain valuable insights into how tech can be used as a powerful tool to transform different kinds of businesses, my problem-solving and communication skills were also greatly honed as I sought to offer clients the best possible solution that Hipster could provide for them." Fun and Supportive Environment 🎉🤗 "Although there were constantly tasks to be completed and expectations to be met, there was honestly never a day that I dreaded coming into work – and that was largely due to my fellow interns and colleagues.
