This week we announced our second divestment of the year being the sale of 100% of our portfolio of operational rooftop solar assets for a premium to NAV, further refining the portfolio. The rooftop portfolio, originally acquired by FGEN in 2015, was sold to AtmosClear Investments for a total consideration of £21.2 million and comprised of over 1,000 fully operational domestic rooftop, commercial rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations distributed across England, Scotland and Wales. Ed Warner, Chair of FGEN said: "We are pleased with this sales agreement which has provided us with substantial funds from a non-core, low yielding asset. Capital allocation remains a key priority for the Board and proceeds will be used to strengthen our balance sheet through a further reduction in debt." This morning, we announced our financial results for the six-months to 30 September 2024. You can watch the highlights for the period presented by Investment Managers Chris Tanner, Edward Mountney and Charlie Wright here: https://bit.ly/4i1DMK4 Key highlights for the period include: - A new record in cash receipts from our operational assets of £46.6 million - An increase in dividend per share to 3.90p for the half-year - on course for full year target - NAV of £720.1m and a NAV per share of 109.8p following the write down of our green hydrogen investment - £68.1 million raised from asset sales in the period - Construction progress is on track, with potential for further capital growth During this period we announced our £20 million share buyback programme, of which £5.2 million has been returned to shareholders. Our Chair Ed Warner said: “FGEN’s half-year results reflect both progress and challenges. While the full write-down of our investment in HH2E impacted overall performance, outside of this our diversified portfolio of sustainable infrastructure assets performed well, delivering record cash distributions and solid dividend cover. During the period, we were pleased to achieve the sale of a majority stake in six anaerobic digestion facilities, to launch our first share buyback programme, and to receive shareholder endorsement of a name change to Foresight Environmental Infrastructure Limited. Additionally, early reductions in UK interest rates provide cautious optimism for a more favourable macroeconomic outlook.” If you would like to read the full report, you can do so by following the link below: https://bit.ly/3OhanhB #FGEN #EnvironmentalInvesting #InvestmentFunds #SustainableInvesting #RenewableInvesting #Results

At COP29 in Baku, the UK underscored its position as a global leader in clean energy. With the Prime Minister’s pledge to cut emissions by 81% before 2035 and lead a pro-growth clean energy transition, the country is setting a clear course toward a sustainable, resilient future. We’re proud of our contribution towards this goal as we harness our investors’ desire to increase their exposure to environmental infrastructure investments. The extended period of share price discounts has created a strong investment opportunity, especially when paired with the LSE’s intentions to create a more transparent regulatory regime. We are also pleased to have been noted as one of the companies that stands to benefit from this positive outlook.
