🎅MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE BABY STEPS TEAM🎅 In line with the festive season, our Baby Steps team decided to make some special Christmas cards with our Baby Steps families as part of their recent postnatal session. We hope you agree that these little feet they painted and then turned into reindeer footprints are super cute and festive!

We are proud to be partnered with Evotix - their safety system has supported FNHC to foster a culture of learning and safety, which has been recognised at a national level 👏
🩺 Guided by values of kindness, courage and excellence in care, Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC) in Jersey is on a mission to lead in nursing and care services across the island. But a healthy reporting culture was one challenge holding them back—staff hesitated to report incidents, fearing blame. Claire White, director of governance & care at FNHC, shares below how with Evotix’s Incident Reporting and Training modules, FNHC turned things around, reinforcing that reporting helps, not hinders. The result? An uptick in reports and a safer environment for all. 📈 Read the full story to see how FNHC empowered its team with Evotix. 👉 https://bit.ly/3ZFISn2 #CompanyCulture #WorkplaceSafety #EHS

Great work from FNHC's BFI Lead Debra Hennessy 👏👏
Deputy of St Saviour in the States of Jersey Assembly (Member of Parliament) * *Social and DE&I activist/ Community Champion (2021)/ Commonwealth New Parliamentarian of the year (2024)
The Jersey #UNICEFBabyFriendlyInitiative (BFI) steering group, which I chair, has recently completed two key audits by UNICEF UK representatives, with interviews wrapping up today. Our goal: Stage 2 accreditation for the Maternity Unit and Stage 3 for Health Visitors, in line with UNICEF’s breastfeeding support standards. Learn more about these stages here: https://lnkd.in/dJx_ikBw I was also honored to be interviewed by Sarah Pickford, UNICEF UK auditor, in my role as #JerseysBreastfeedingGuardian. While there’s always room for improvement, I’m incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made since the #BFI working group was established. We expect to hear back soon on whether we’ve secured these important accreditations, and with the team’s hard work, I’m feeling optimistic! A huge thank you to Debra Hennessy -BFI Jersey Project Lead, Family Nursing & Home Care and everyone involved in the Maternity unit and elsewhere for their dedication in meeting the required standards and preparing for the audit and equally to the parents involved in the interview process.
