Dear followers, I hope you've been enjoying a delightful summer and are still soaking up the sun. This is the perfect moment to catch up on a brief update from us, as you may have noticed that we haven't scheduled any Breakout Bites yet. After careful consideration and reviewing the feedback from our July survey, we've come to the realization that it's time to reimagine how we inspire the banking industry. We've discovered that you primarily seek out inspirational content that can be consumed at your convenience, focusing on topics directly relevant to your day-to-day work. We've also recognized the wealth of expertise within our extensive personal network, where individuals are eager to share their insights, whether anonymously or not. Furthermore, our network, Innovation in Payments, which is on the verge of becoming the largest LinkedIn Group dedicated to payments, serves as an immense source of inspiration. By discontinuing our weekly meetups, we're freeing up valuable time to create new and invaluable content, incorporating more input from the community. Our aim is to leave you feeling even more inspired than before. We will keep writing to you on a regular basis if you're subscribed to our newsletter, so you are among the first to know about new content and exciting news. P.S.: I'm thrilled to announce that I've recently secured a book deal for "The New Ethos in Banking". This undertaking will involve substantial work and research, providing ample additional information for bite-size blogs on the topic, as I progress towards the bigger picture. To get The Banking Scen's latest news and updates, we suggest you to subscribe to our main LinkedIn page, if you have not done so already: https://lnkd.in/e_K-v_rD Thanks a lot for your support and let's stay in touch! Connecting organisations and people, helping to shape the bank of tomorrow
About us
Round table sessions made virtual. Chatham House Rules create an intimate setting for the audience and spur conversations, start Q&A sessions, share opinions and experiences. Each week we tackle a new topic, with a unique central guest. These sessions attract, on average, 25 attendees per event. Sponsored sessions can easily grow to 100 attendees or more. Moreover, after every session, we publish a blog with the session’s key messages for people who could not attend. Of course, respecting the Chatham House rules. Join us each Thursday afternoon at 16h with a wine or beer, every time with another central guest and a different topic. Get inspired and grow your network!
