Cyclocross: Mud, Thrills, and… Duck Hats?! 🚴♂️🍴 🦆   This past Sunday, we invited a small, select group of customers to join us for a VIP adventure at the cyclocross in Namur—and what a day it was! The mud was flying, the competition was fierce, and the crowd brought the energy as world-class athletes battled it out on the course. 🌟   Of course, we couldn’t let our group blend into the crowd. Wat een bijzondere avond. Samen met Willem van der Leegte mocht ik in de voetsporen treden van onze vaders als nummer 1 in de regionale top 50 van FRITS Media. Het is een prachtig eerbetoon aan onze familiebedrijven Simac Techniek NV en VDL Groep en al onze medewerkers. Ik ben dankbaar dat ik als volgende generatie vanuit deze positie een bijdrage mag leveren aan de toekomst van onze regio. En daarnaast om als CEO en topvrouw een inspiratie en rolmodel te zijn voor al het vrouwelijk talent wat in onze regio actief is! Hans Matheeuwsen dank voor deze bijzondere avond en jouw verbindende rol. Als ik naar de FRITS Media definitie van invloed kijk, waarbij het het volgens jou gaat over relaties opbouwen, samenwerken en iedereen betrekken dan kan ik alleen maar trots zijn om op 1 te staan in deze lijst.

Maartje van Schagen uitgeroepen tot topvrouw van het jaar. Tijdens een feestelijke bijeenkomst is Simac’s ceo Maartje van Schagen door magazine FRITS uitgeroepen tot topvrouw van het jaar in de regio Eindhoven. Op het podium van het Evoluon kreeg zij een prachtig ingelijste voorpagina van het magazine in ontvangst. Maartje treedt hiermee in de voetsporen van haar vader Eric, die de prestigieuze titel in 2021 verdiende. Topman van het jaar werd Willem van der Leegte van VDL Groep. Uiteraard gaan onze felicitaties ook naar hem uit!

🚦 Stuck in Traffic? Not Our Deliveries! 🚛💊 Earlier this week, the VRT program Terzake highlighted the growing impact of traffic congestion on businesses in Belgium. Febelco, a key player in the delivery of medicines to pharmacies, was featured as an example of how logistical challenges are intensifying due to increasing delays on the road. ⏱️ At FEBELCO, ensuring timely deliveries is critical—especially in their sector, where precision and reliability are everything. That’s why they rely on our software, IDdelivery, to automatically reschedule undelivered packages as quickly as possible. Together, we’re also working on an extension to the system to account for specific opening and closing times, helping FEBELCO keep their operations smooth and efficient. 🌐✨ The Terzake episode, which aired on Tuesday, highlights just how significant these challenges are, and we’re proud to support FEBELCO with innovative tools to navigate them successfully.
