SIMABS NV has developed a unique platform for fast, flexible and cost effective development and manufacturing of monoclonal antibodies. We deliver total solutions for your development and manufacturing by means of a new and unique manufacturing platform based on continuous bioprocessing. This platform allows us to produce several complex antibodies (monoclonal, bispecific, multivalent,…) in a range from milligrams to kilograms for biopharmaceutical companies. This platform will enable personalised medicine to become an affordable reality. We are a one stop shop with a lean and customer oriented project management approach.     Meet Thomas Geuens, CTO from team simAbs 👈 Thomas obtained his PhD in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB). There, he was awarded a PhD fellowship from the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) to unravel phenotypic effects of protein mutations. After a 3-year post-doctoral stay abroad, he joined simAbs as an Upstream Process Development Engineer. Thomas now supports simAbs as CTO. Over the years he has built up extensive knowledge in cell line generation, protein expression in mammalian and bacterial cells, protein characterization and bioprocess development.
