💡 Did you know we published our first Global Deposit Book in 2016? A lot has changed since then 👇 The report has grown significantly, mirroring the rising global adoption of deposit return systems (DRS). Back in 2016, just 38 jurisdictions had such systems in place. Today, that number has climbed to 57, underlining their role as a cornerstone of modern waste management and circular economy policies. Projections suggest that by the end of 2027, over 70 jurisdictions - covering around 641 million people - will have operational programmes for single-use beverage containers. The Global Deposit Book 2024 examines the current and planned systems, highlighting opportunities to expand and improve deposit systems worldwide. 🌍 Explore and download the Global Deposit Book 2024 👉 https://lnkd.in/dVBt_f97 #CircularEconomy #DepositReturnSystem
