Reducing the total cost of ownership of your products while affordably creating complex but versatile products is a smart way to boost revenue and gain a competitive advantage. And that’s where AM comes into play. Here are four ways 3D printing can solve the cost and complexity puzzle many AM companies face without affecting operational efficiency. https://mtls.am/4glqWoI   #ComplexAMParts #CutProductionCosts #3DPrintingSolutions #Sustainable3DPrinting

Meet Niklas Hansmann!🤝 He’s been on a unique journey at Materialise. He joined our Metal Competence Center in Germany fresh from university🎓 and has grown with the office, seeing it develop from a start-up to a full-fledged production site and a key component of our manufacturing business. 🏭 During this period, he gradually moved out of his comfort zone, doing multiple roles until he found his calling as a Sales Engineer for metal 3D printing. Niklas’s personal development is a joy to behold. And we appreciate that he’s grown with us and the Metal Competence Center to make it the tour de force it is today! 🚀 He’s a prime example of how our employees constantly strive to be the best they can be — and how the right support can make a difference in a person’s career. So, want to work in a relaxed environment with amazing colleagues, where you can speak freely without worrying about hierarchy? (Niklas’s words, not ours!). 😎 Then check out our vacancies! https://mtls.am/49nSOWC

  • The additive manufacturing (AM) industry is at a pivotal moment, from prioritizing technological innovation to unleashing AM’s potential in real-world business cases. However, how can we, as an industry, drive this change and accelerate the adoption rate of 3D printing in the near future? By empowering our end users and fostering collaboration to deliver tangible business value. Brigitte de Vet-Veithen, CEO of Materialise, outlines her vision for the AM industry and how we must work together — manufacturers, partners, and suppliers — to scale the adoption of 3D printing on an industrial scale. Watch our 3D printing trends video for 2025 and discover how this new focus will help propel us toward a new industrial reality that will make a difference, changing industries and shaping lives for the better. https://mtls.am/4ioe7vg #3DPrintingTrends2025 #MakeADifference #Scale3DPrinting #NewIndustrialReality #CollaborationCatalyst

Feliz cumpleaños, Materialise Colombia! Our office in Medellín recently celebrated a major milestone: its 10th anniversary! Materialise Colombia threw a fabulous party to mark the occasion, bringing together staff, leaders, and a few special guests — blending reflection, recognition, and a host of festivities to make it a night to remember! The evening was full of laughter, photos, and plenty of toasts (including Refajo cocktails and Aguardiente firewater, to name a few), marking a decade of success. But it was also the perfect time to look ahead and set the stage for many more years of innovation and growth. Materialise Colombia is a key office in our organization, covering the Latin American and Brazilian regions. It’s full of knowledgeable clinical engineers, sales professionals, and marketing experts dedicated to improving the medical field with our 3D planning software. A big thank you for all your hard work and bringing your unique culture, humor, and charm to the event. We won’t forget this 10-year bash in a hurry! • In October, our Ukrainian colleagues organized their third annual Charity Week at Materialise Ukraine. A tradition that started in 2022, the event aims to support our colleagues currently mobilized and fighting for Ukraine. A huge shoutout to everyone who took part and the group who helped make it happen. This year’s highlights included: - An online marketplace where employees could buy and sell various goods and services, including handcrafted items  - A charity collection where children’s items, pet food, and other objects were either donated to charitable foundations or sold, with the proceeds going to the Ukrainian resistance  - Educational workshops for employees, such as “waste sorting and recycling,” “prosthetics and inclusion,” “meeting with colleague-defenders,” and “AI direction”  - A bake sale at Materialise HQ in Leuven, Belgium, to raise additional funds    Charity Week at Materialise Ukraine remains a vital event for us. Not only does it support our mobilized colleagues, but it also strengthens the bond within our Ukrainian office. This uplifting initiative showcases our Ukrainian colleagues’ resilience and positivity, which is truly inspiring. We want to thank them for their continued effort, endurance, and strength. #MaterialiseUkraine #ChartityWeekMaterialiseUkraine  #SupportColleaguesInUkraine #WeStandTogether #StandWithUkraine

  • Sustainability is a key part of our mission and shared vision to create a better and healthier world — and we’re always looking for ways to reduce our carbon emissions. So, we’re delighted that through collaboration and partnerships with HP and our suppliers, we switched to a carbon-reduced PA 12, resulting in a 46% reduction in our emissions compared to the regular PA 12! This change sits beside other initiatives to reduce raw material emissions, such as optimizing our production processes and reusing or repurposing powder to give it an alternative life. This carbon-reduced powder is vital to meet our near-term target of reducing our CO2 emissions by 55% by 2029.  It’s an action that complements other actions, such as transitioning to renewable electricity in our production sites and most of our offices and using software solutions in our workflows that minimize scrape and material consumption. For more information, see our company highlight! https://mtls.am/4eMjaCL #CarbonReducedPA12 #CollaborationInAM #3DPrintingCarbonFootprint #SustainabilityInAM #MakeADifference
