I N V E S T I N G I N N E W R E C R U I T S We recruit and develop the most talented lawyers – investing in our new recruits from day one and creating the best possible environment for personal and professional development. In addition to complex client matters and international work from the outset, lawyers participate in professional training and inspirational lectures, have the opportunity to attend weekly workout classes and can contribute to pro bono work and other community engagements. S U S T A I N A B I L I T Y Sustainability is a central part of the firm. We work with sustainability within a framework of three pillars: in our legal advice, internally within the firm, and in society. Given the firm’s size and position in legal market, we have both a responsibility and an opportunity to influence and pursue important and challenging issues – not only as a legal advisor, but also as an independent economic operator, an employer and a social actor.

OUR PEOPLE 👋 Meet Albert Roos, Partner at Mannheimer Swartling. “This is my first year as a partner so I am the first to admit that it is all a bit new to me, but one of the most exciting – and maybe even a little intimidating – parts of being a partner is this special sense of shared empowerment/responsibility for making our firm the best it can be, for our clients, our associates and staff, and even for ourselves. Sharing that kind of passionately held goal with an amazing set of driven and intelligent colleagues, and realising that I have a real role to play in that, is incredibly inspiring.” #mannheimerswartling #lawfirm #expertise

Handelsbanken successfully completes its divestments in Finland Handelsbanken’s retail operations have now been transferred to S-Pankki (S-Bank) and its life insurance operations to Fennia. This final step follows the completion of the sale of the SME business to Oma Säästöpankki Oyj (Oma Savings Bank) in August, after an extensive implementation and migration period that commenced after signing of the transactions in May 2023. Together, these transactions represent one of the largest financial services deals undertaken in the Finnish market. We are proud to have advised Handelsbanken on this milestone achievement. Congratulations to all the teams involved!
