Powering food loss & waste reduction across Europe’s hotel & food service sector through farm to fork collaboration

About us

The International Food Waste Coalition is a collaborative farm-to-plate approach against food waste throughout the food services Value Chain. Created in April 2015, the International Food Waste Coalition (IFWC) is a not-for-profit association of food organizations joining forces to reduce food waste throughout the food services value chain in the world, starting with Europe. The founding members are Ardo, McCain, Pepsico, Sodexo, SCA, Unilever Food Solutions and WWF and partners FAO and LeanPath. Collaboration across the value chain is key to having a major positive impact, much larger than anything any actor could achieve individually. Up to now, IFWC is the only organization tackling food waste along the value chain.
