In 2025, the Flanders Classics spring classics campaign will look a little different compared to its traditional format. Both Ronde van Limburg and De Brabantse Pijl get new dates heading into the new season. With the Ronde van Limburg, an extra race is being added to the Flemish spring calendar. The race will take place on Wednesday April 16th, between Paris-Roubaix and Amstel Gold Race. With this change every Flemish province will host a spring classic from 2025 on. Additionally this is a wonderful piece of legacy of the European Championships in Limburg, which we are still savouring today. De Brabantse Pijl will no longer be raced on Wednesday and moves to Friday April 18th. The goal is to attract more climbers to the field of the spring classic that traditionally marks the transition from the Flemish to the Walloon spring events. By organising De Brabantse Pijl on Friday, that combination with the Amstel Gold Race becomes much more feasible for the riders. Moreover, the trio Ronde van Limburg - De Brabante Pijl - Amstel Gold Race provides a logistically appealing option for the teams, especially considering the Walloon classics that follow. At #FLCS we're very much looking forward to #SetThePace with 8 spring classics!

Yesterday, Diegem hosted the sixth race of the Telenet Superprestige, as well as the second edition of the Turbo Cross. In the Women Elite category Lucinda Brand defeated Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado after an intense battle. A group of 8 riders started the final lap in the men's race. Laurens Sweeck took his 3rd Telenet Superprestige win of the season after a thriller finale. Also on the programme, the Turbo Cross with 46 participants paired into duos. This extra race was as entertaining as it was intense. Puck Moonen and Bas Tietema stole the spotlight, ultimately taking home the victory. The massive crowd brought an electric atmosphere that elevated the event even further. The Turbo Cross proved that cyclo-cross and entertainment are a perfect match. Who’s already looking forward to the next edition? #FLCS #CX #SetThePace
