How do European institutions and youth organizations use restorative justice in their approach to conflict resolution? We conducted 20 interviews with participants from Belgium, Italy, Slovenia, and Romania, and this video perfectly sums up the interesting results we’ve collected. Our findings shed light on a range of innovative Restorative Justice practices, with dialogue emerging as a central tool for mutual understanding and conflict resolution. Multisensory Space Training Week in #Finland From November 25 to 29, the inspiring #Multisensory #Space Training Week unfolded at Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Vantaa, Finland. This immersive program introduced participants to the multisensory method, which integrates sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell to connect emotions with learning, fostering deeper understanding and meaningful connections. A highlight of the week was the workshops centered on #HumanRights, exploring critical topics like the right to a home and personal safety. Through the use of multisensory environments, participants delved into complex themes of belonging and inclusion, especially as they relate to groups such as refugees, migrants, and workers. The innovative approach aimed to cultivate empathy, encourage storytelling, and enhance shared understanding among diverse groups. The week brought together a dynamic mix of individuals—consortium members, migrants, refugees, students, and professionals—all united in their mission to apply the multisensory method in creating transformative learning and connection. As European Migrant Platform, we were delighted to contribute to this exceptional initiative, sharing insights and learning alongside other participants. It was a privilege to engage with such a diverse and passionate group, all striving to foster inclusion and understanding in meaningful ways. 25 November: International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women On this day, we stand in solidarity with women around the world, particularly migrant women, who face unique and compounded challenges in their fight against violence and inequality. The European Migrant Platform recognizes the vulnerability of migrant women in Europe, many of whom encounter violence during their journeys or within the systems meant to support them. Addressing this issue requires collective action, protection mechanisms, and policy reforms across borders. Together, let’s break the cycle of violence.
