We have some great updates! Recently, we submitted the regulatory dossier for VIRTUOSA to the authorities in California for a parallel review along with our EPA dossier. This marks another important step in bringing our products to the farmer. Together with the EPA submissions as well as the European submission of our active substance dossier, we'll making great progress in achieving our goal of providing innovative products!

✨ It’s World Soil Day ✨ Sustainable agriculture can only be achieved with heathy soils. At Aphea.Bio, we strongly believe in the power of biostimulants and their potential to enhance soil health and ecosystem services. We are committed to establishing reliable methods to measure soil health. In collaboration with Faculty of Bioscience Engineering UGent / Ghent University and CropFit we are working on a framework to assess the impact of microbial biostimulants on soil ecosystems. Providing reliable measurements will play an important role in achieving our goal of a more sustainable future – from reducing the CO2 footprint to providing healthy foods! #WorldSoilDay #sustainability #agriculture

🌱 The support for biocontrol solutions is growing! 🌱 As an IBMA - International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association member, we are excited to see collaboration across organizations to help drive the transformation toward sustainable agriculture!
🚀 Exciting news! 🌱 IBMA and FAO have signed a Letter of Intent to accelerate the uptake of #biocontrol around the world 🌱 👉 Both IBMA and FAO have a shared vision of ensuring farmers have access to effective and sustainable tools such as biocontrol which: 💡support sustainable crop production and diversification to improve people's nutrition, livelihoods and incomes 💡enhance biodiversity and ecosystem services 💡contribute to climate change adaptation and resilience. 🤝 We both have a common will to strengthen efforts to mainstream biological control and declare our intention to: 📍 exchange information and ideas on sustainable crop protection 📍 identify gaps and bottlenecks in mainstreaming the use of biological control, be it regulatory, research, production, or field use 📍 enhance capacities and pilot other solutions that will facilitate greater adoption of biological control as a sustainable tool in crop protection 📍 and promote the use of biological control globally. 🙌 We look forward to the opportunities this will bring to #farmers, the #biocontrol sector and the wider agricultural community. To achieve our goal of a more sustainable future, we need to be able to bring new solutions to European growers- and an efficient regulatory process is at the heart of this!
🌱 The EU’s Biocontrol Bottleneck: A Call for Urgent Regulatory Reform The Biocontrol Coalition is excited to share our perspective, featured in Euractiv! In this article, we highlight the critical need for a streamlined regulatory framework to improve EU farmers' access to biocontrol solutions. Nearly two decades after the REBECA project first flagged Europe’s limited market presence for biocontrol products, EU farmers still face long approval times, hindering their ability to adopt sustainable plant protection methods. 💡 Curious about how updated biocontrol regulations can support both environmental goals and farm productivity? ✒ Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/eWMqEmPC ✒ Join the Biocontrol Coalition: https://lnkd.in/eP8Eajyg #BiocontrolCoalition #SustainableAgriculture #Biocontrol #Innovation #FutureOfFarming #EU
