👋 Gone for good in Pakenham! 🚉 We removed the level crossings at Main Street, McGregor Road and Racecourse Roads by elevating the rail and opening 2 new stations at Pakenham and East Pakenham. 🏀 We also opened 6 MCGs of open space, including a half basketball court, fitness circuit, community meeting place and shared use path. 👇 Watch below to see the completed Pakenham project.

An absolute honor to have been nominated for the prestigious "Altitude Program", a leadership based immersive training experience offered by Brisbane Airport Corporation, that has been nothing short of transformative! Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of learning alongside 11 extraordinary individuals; each one a role model in their own right, each one shaping the future of our company. The coaching sessions by WeAspire have been a powerful catalyst in refining my leadership skills and challenging my perspectives on what it means to truly lead. Leadership is not about the title, the accolades or the spotlight; it’s about the people you uplift, the trust you build and the difference you make by putting the team first! I’ve learned that leadership is a balance of vision and empathy, courage and humility, action and listening. It’s about guiding with intention, communicating with clarity and collaborating with a shared purpose. Great leaders know the importance of understanding context, never losing sight of the bigger picture and inspiring those around them to bring their best selves forward. Being part of this program has shown me that the true measure of leadership lies not in the accomplishments we achieve alone, but in the collective success we foster within our teams. The greatest leaders are first great followers; those who listen, learn and elevate others before themselves. To lead with empathy is to invite others to invest in you and in that investment lies the power to achieve greatness together. As I continue on the journey, I am deeply grateful to Robert Scodellaro for the opportunity to grow and be challenged via the comprehensive program. The potential for change, impact and innovation is limitless. I’m committed to embracing it with courage, humility and an unwavering dedication to my team! #GrowthMindset #WomeninLeadership #DiversityInclusion #WomeninConstruction #BrisbaneAirportCorporation

Building the world's most effective first-time leader training for infrastructure and construction.

If you're a middle manager, this video is a must watch 👇 You're probably navigating a role which is actually the hardest leadership role in the whole company. When you are part do-er, part leader. It's hard even if you know what you should be doing. If you're trying to get started or figuring it out, it can feel almost impossible.

Building the most effective first time leader training for infrastructure and construction | Helped 25,000+ future leaders get promoted | Leadership Development | AFR BOSS Young Exec | Co-Founder & CEO WeAspire

What are you celebrating this week? I loved taking a moment to pause and celebrate with Natasha Roy, GAICD and Jana Lanigan at the Australian HR awards last night 👏🏻 a massive accomplishment for us and one to to celebrate - our programs being excellence awardees and the people who make it happen. A big take away was noticing how often it’s so easy to get on with it, get caught up in work and not actually stop to celebrate. Huge congratulations to our partners at John Holland and Brisbane Airport Corporation who were named as Excellence Awardees in Best Leadership Program and Best Development Program for our work together on the Connect and Altitude Programs!! While we didn’t get to take out the overall winner, making it this far is huge and shows the impact we are having with first time leaders. Thank you Jane Dionysius, Larinda Donnellon, Natasha, Jana, Ryan Dodd and so many more for backing us right from the start, creating a vision for early career leaders, women in construction, diversity in infrastructure and continuing to partner with us several years on. So this week I’m stopping to celebrate WeAspire, our partners, the first time leaders in our programs, all 633 of them over the last 4 years, the many mentors that back these leaders and of course my amazing business and life partner Michael Furey. Great bonus to boogie on the dance floor with Alice Hanna and celebrate Kapitol Group being excellence awardees for their grad program. What will you pause and celebrate this week?!

Building the world's most effective first-time leader training for infrastructure and construction.

You don’t win a Gold Medal by mistake. But how do top teams get such high performance from their athletes? 🧐 Is it just talent? Plain hard work? Or is something else at play? Our mission at WeAspire is to build the worlds most effective first time leader training for the infrastructure and construction sectors. We took at look at what these top teams are up to, and found 5 Key factors: 1. Aim for mastery: Seems simple but all the best are unapologetically ambitious 2. Embed purpose: They find a higher meaning than just doing the work. This meaning is compelling, and provides a vision to elevate their performance 3. Care a lot: From hiring a cleaner to help out at home, to encouraging positive talk in the gym, top teams take caring for others seriously 4. Challenge their people: Top teams create environments where challenge is welcomed, and development is the status quo. 5. Provide Autonomy: Once high standards are met, the highest level of performance can only Emerge when the individual members take charge of their progress. • To be biased, is to be human. Research shows it is almost impossible to remove bias - so the best way is to design processing and strategies which just avoid scenarios where its likely to show up.
