🌟 Collaboration in Promoting Diabetic Foot Health 🌟 This week, WA Health Group's Burswood Health clinic had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Femi Oshin, a Consultant Vascular Surgeon from Oshin Vascular Services. Dr. Oshin is renowned for his expertise in diabetic foot care and his role in the multidisciplinary high-risk foot team at Royal Perth Hospital and Hollywood Hospital. Our team, including Lennon Correia GAICD (Physiotherapist), Reuben Fox (Physiotherapist), Rhian Bore (Exercise Physiologist), and Sruti Panda (Podiatrist), had an inspiring discussion about the importance of integrated care for diabetic foot health. This collaboration highlights our shared vision to deliver holistic, outcome-based care that empowers patients to lead healthier, happier lives. Together, we explored potential avenues to enhance diabetic foot care outside the public system by leveraging allied health expertise.
