About us
VP Capital is an Australia-focused, AFS-licensed wholesale fund manager with offices in Melbourne, Australia and Hong Kong, PRC. It manages VP Capital Fund I, which has a broad mandate to invest in listed equities, primary market transactions (eg capital raisings and underwriting), VC opportunities and pre-IPOs, among other opportunities. The principal focus is the ASX, but the fund also undertakes investments in other stock exchanges, such as the US and Hong Kong. The fund has generated ~15% net IRR since inception in February 2018 (vs ~9.5% ASX accum. index same period). From time to time, VP Capital also leads or licenses VC funds into unique opportunities that the founders believe exhibit asymmetric risk-reward attributes. Over the years, VP Capital has developed extensive experience across the North American tech and gaming sectors. Its OG Fund generated 8.6x net return since inception in August 2020 and its VP Special Situations Fund generated 1.9x net return since inception in November 2023.
