Wound Care Wednesday: Pressure Ulcers - Stage 1. ❓ Did you know? A Stage 1 pressure ulcer is the earliest sign of skin damage—redness, swelling, or discoloration that doesn’t fade after pressure is relieved. Early detection is key to prevention. 🩹 Care Tip: Encourage frequent repositioning and protect the skin with moisture barriers to stop progression. 💁♂️ How We Help: Our nurses provide skin integrity assessments, to ensure the earliest possible detection and intervention.

Nurses from Uprety Home Care attended the NSW evening education event - ABC of Leg Wounds today, organized by Wounds Australia at Wyong Leagues Group Club. It was an informative 3 hours of CPD for our nurses. They gained confidence in identifying and differentiating arterial and venous ulcers, as well as in the investigation and nursing management of these conditions. #cpd #woundsaustralia #legwound #chronicwound #communitynursing #ndis #ndisnursing #legwound #woundcare #australia #nsw Kylie Alyce Manisha
