✨ Wrapped 2024 ✨ This year, we wanted to share some of our favourite statistics! Did you know... - Umbrella released more Australian films in 2024 than any other distributor - We released 82 films on physical including 22 Aussie movies and 11 4Ks - 143,554 people saw Terrifier 3 in Australian and New Zealand cinemas - 4/5 of the highest-grossing films in Australia were from Umbrella - We restored over 12 films in 2024 Thank you all for an incredible year, we are so keen for what is to come in 2025 including more than we have shared so far from new restorations, to theatrical premieres, and insane Collector's Editions. LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS is officially launching into the stars with its World Premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in the prestigious Panorama section! Huge congratulations to Emma Hobbs, Leela Varghese, Tom Phillips, and the entire We Made a Thing Studios team for bringing this bold, hilarious, and heartfelt adventure to life. Umbrella is thrilled to be the ANZ distribution partner for this out-of-the-world animated feature and can’t wait to bring it to cinemas in 2025.

2024 has been a massive year for us at Umbrella! We are proud to announce LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS has won the Audience Award at Adelaide Film Festival 2024 🎉   This Australian animated comedy, which celebrates LGBTQI+ and diverse voices, took audiences on a hilarious inter-gay-lactic journey of self-love and discovery.    With an all-star vocal cast including Kween Kong, Aunty Donna, Richard Roxburgh, and Shabana Azeez as Princess Saira, LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS will be landing in Australian cinemas in 2025.
