  • Not sure what to do as an ambulance approaches? Don't worry, we've got you covered. - Slow down - Keep to your left - Don't panic Following these simple steps will help us help those in need. 🚑 Remember paramedics are professionally trained to drive under emergency conditions and make their way safely through traffic, so don't do anything dangerous like run a red light or move into the path of oncoming traffic. 🛑

  • Stay safe today, WA. Many people are celebrating with plenty of sunshine and good food, so remember if you become sick or injured, and it's not an emergency, visit the friendly team at St John Urgent Care. They provide medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses (even during the festive season). By visiting Urgent Care you can avoid the emergency department and save Triple Zero (000) for those who need it most. https://brnw.ch/21wPCSn Thank you to everyone working today to keep WA safe and healthy. 💚

  • The smallest member of the green team reminded Santa of his wish to become a paramedic for the second year in a row. 🎅🏻 Harrison loves all things St John WA, thanks to his dedicated mum and dad who serve in green, and we can't wait to have him join us formally one day. PS - keep your eyes on socials for more of Harrison over the holiday period.

  • This year we introduced our partnership with Convo Communications Australia , which has allowed us to better serve the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community. We want to wish all in the community a happy and safe holiday period and remind all that the service is still available across our ambulance and health care centres. If you used the service we'd love to get your feedback so we can continue to roll out initiatives that better serve the entire WA community: https://lnkd.in/gbqfPFKy

  • Event Health Services (EHS) have hit a major milestone, celebrating 120 years of service. Starting out on this day in 1904 originally known as the St John Ambulance Brigade, the team has come a long way in supporting the community.
