We’re a marketplace for the short-term hourly hire of community spaces. We make it easy to find the space you need for a family celebration, to run a workshop, or do your side hustle. We also give powerful booking tools to space hosts so that sharing and booking their space is as easy as anything. This all leads to happier people, less wasted space, more economic activity in towns and neighbourhoods, place-making, space activation and good ol’ fashioned community connection. For local governments, it’s an utter game-changer with paper forms, mind-numbing accounts reconciliation and boring, ridiculous tasks now a thing of the past. We’ve redefined the booking officer job in local government from, pretty darn dreadful to OMG-this-is-amazing. We’ve been called other things too... like, the Airbnb for spaces, the Uber for spaces, the sharing economy for spaces, the-space-as-a-service-service and ‘those guys from Perth’.

We've reached 100K users!! 🥳👏🙌 Last week, we reached a massive milestone in gaining our 100,000th user - the lovely Sarah who booked 2 nights at the Sandy Cape campgrounds through SpacetoCo! ⛺️ Since we started in 2017, it's been our mission to connect communities with local spaces, and we are so grateful to everyone who has used our platform to book spaces. Safe to say this is the best Christmas ever! 💛

CO-FEST BALI Recap 🌺 Days 3 & 4 Look fam, we really did do some work over these final days of Co-Fest. We looked at our pricing structures, customer profiles, onboarding... ...but we also checked out the sights, cooked up a storm, got prezzies from Santa and all around spent some FUN time together as a team! Gratitude. “I was one of the guys outside this house with a shovel in my hand… I really appreciate the opportunity to work from home, out of the weather and surrounded by family.” This was the quote from one of our team at our company gathering called Co-Fest this last week that nearly had me in tears. He’s a heck of a guy and it’s hard work that got him off the tools and in front of a computer, but I’m so glad he’s working with us now! This has been a heck of a year with a tonne of milestones achieved including profitability, signing up our 60th local government council, smashing sales targets, positive reviews in the hundreds, raising $2m to bring our solution to the UK and so much more. But I have to say the fullest my heart has been this year was this past week as I gathered with 13 other team members at our SpacetoCo company Co-Fest Co-nnect. This was just the second one we have held in the history of the company, but it was by far the best. We took time to celebrate the achievements of 2024, plan for 2025 and beyond and to just be in the same room with people that we normally only see on a screen. As a WFH business, we have a variety of ways that we connect for fun online throughout the year and if you are interested in hearing about some of them, reach out with a PM. Sometimes nothing compares to a brainstorm, a beer or a chat with someone on the couch right next to you. The week was filled with laughter, stories and overall a clear sense that there isn’t a person in the company that doesn’t have the needs and wants of our customers at the very heart of what they do every day. I want to thank everyone who travelled to our location (and those who couldn’t make it for various reasons) for all of your efforts this year, to share the time with us and to work out how we can serve our many customers even better in the years to come. CO-FEST BALI 2024 🌴🌺 🌊 Last week, we had our annual work retreat in beautiful Bali! For some of us, it was the first time meeting each other in person. For others, it was the first time jumping on a plane out of home ✈️!! But for all of us, it was a time to celebrate and look forward to the next chapter of SpacetoCo 🚀 We're firm believers that teamwork makes the dream work, so gatherings like this is a big priority for us, especially as we mostly work remote.
