Bask in that afternoon sun on the Flair O' outdoor chair designed by @monicaarmani for @bebitalia. The backrest is woven on a special circular loom (tombolo) in line with an ancient technique typical of the area where the B&B Italia headquarter is located. To fine-tune it, Monica Armani collaborated with unPIZZO, a design studio based in Cantù, which specializes in the recovery and development of traditional weaving techniques revisited in a contemporary key and applied to the furnishing sector. It was an honor to host an Education Evening in our Melbourne showroom with teams from Hassell, Bates Smart, Architectus, Fender Katsalidis, and Carr Design on the 20th of June. The event was a unique opportunity to educate our A+D clients, offering them a deep dive into the history of our brands and celebrating the quality from our esteemed international partners. Our discussions ranged from fabric selections to the environmental impact choices made by our longstanding manufacturers. The evening culminated in a fun and engaging quiz, putting the attendees' newfound knowledge to the test. Congratulations to Hassell for winning this year's challenge! Thank you to all who attended and made the evening a success. We look forward to continuing our journey of learning and innovation together.
