  • Over the past week, the Sydney Children's Christmas Party was held for children with disabilities, an organisation Sheldon and Hammond has been supporting for over 20 years! These Christmas parties are the biggest events of their kind in Australia and at every event, these children are treated to a day of celebrity stage shows, fun rides, interactive games, yummy food, face painting and many more fun activities. The organisation works closely with hundreds of charities, schools, care providers, community groups and government organisations throughout the country to achieve one goal: Put smiles on children's faces! We couldn't be more proud to support that goal ❤️ Take a look at the highlights of the 2024 party: https://lnkd.in/gM5g8Juj

  • We were honoured to be invited to attend the OzHarvest Nourish program graduation, where another group of amazing students received their Certificate II in Cookery. Nourish was launched by OzHarvest nine years ago and is a hospitality training program for young people aged 16-25 who face barriers to education and employment. OzHarvest runs the bespoke 18-week program, free of charge, where students graduate with a nationally recognised Certificate II in Cookery, new life skills and opportunities for work or further education. To support this program, Victorinox provides the students with a Classic Steak and Vegetable Knife to begin their cooking toolkit. Ronni Kahn AO, OzHarvest Founder & Visionary in Residence, shared that now over 300 students have graduated and that these graduation days are the highlight of her year. “When they walk through our door they join us and become a part of our family,” said Ronni. “Oz Harvest is a magnet for magnificent people.” Congratulations again to the 2024 graduates!! 💛

On Saturday I spent a fun and informative morning with Amanda Cordony - at The Cordony Kitchen’s Christmas Masterclass. We created festive salads in Christmas colours to complement Amanda’s roast chicken, created in the stunning Chasseur copper Chef’s Pan. Each guest walked away with their own Chef’s pan to recreate Amanda’s delicious recipes, as well as comestibles from Harris Farm Markets, and a Carrière Frères Christmas scented candle. Steve Cordony also made an appearance demonstrating how to create an aspirational yet achievable Christmas tablescape. Check out the new House & Garden magazine - ‘Entertaining with Amanda Cordony’ - featuring curated recipes and entertaining tips from Amanda, published by Are Media Pty Ltd
