☀️ Despite battling the blazing Mildura heat yesterday, part of the Ruralco Water and Waterexchange teams came together to 🎉 celebrate 🎉 the year, and a fitting send off to the incredible, Ricki Martin from the Waterexchange. Since joining the Waterexchange, Ricki has been nothing short of extraordinary 👩💻. A true trailblazer, who displays thorough diligence, professionalism, leadership, and an unwavering passion for delivering timely and exceptional results for our clients 📈. And, it hasn’t been easy. Every season brings with it its fair share of challenges, encumbrances, new processes and high expectations, yet through it all, Ricki consistently remained calm and never complained—a truly remarkable quality to possess ❇️. All of this while studying and completing a Bachelor of Business (Accounting)(Marketing and Management) at La Trobe University 👩🎓 . While we’re going to miss Ricki Martin, we know this is just the beginning of her next big adventure. 💧 Southern Basin Water Market Update 💧 ☀️ As we approach a week of forecasted high temperatures and no significant rainfall, we may see increased demand in the allocation markets, potentially driving a shift in temporary allocation prices. 🔄 However, this trend could be short-lived depending on the market’s response to the 9GL Goulburn to Murray trade opening on Monday, December 16, which may influence market dynamics. 📢 Equally important are the upcoming NSW Murray and Murrumbidgee allocation announcements, where we’re closely watching for any potential increases to general security entitlements.
