I have been looking back on the year that was, as part of inspiration to adjust my goals for 2025. What a year it has been! Often we come to the end of a year and just look at where we are with dissatisfaction, telling ourselves we haven’t achieved what we want, had too many failures along the way. Maybe we haven't actually achieved our goal, but if we've had a goal in mind, and have worked all year with that goal in mind, then reflect back on the year in detail, keeping that goal in mind. Really think about what has happened throughout the year. Go through photos if you need to, write down anything that comes up from those photo’s that you may have forgotten about. You will see how far you’ve come. Yes, you might still have a way to achieve that end goal, but you’ll realise that you’re closer than you ever have been, so just need to keep going. For my family and I, we have made strong bold moves this year to aim for travelling for next year. We’ve lived in the same place for over 20 years and it is time for a change. We were worried about having the money to get ourselves set up to hit the road, but baby steps, and course corrections have brought our vision into reality. We have taken each step as we were able to take it, and have found that when we needed something to help towards this journey, it has shown up. When we truly make a decision, things shift, and change, to make it happen. So reflect back on the year that was with gratitude for all the shifts you can see, all the valuable memories created, and set your goals for 2025 while in this feeling of gratitude and love for life. It’s only going to keep getting better!
