For some years now David and Paul have been asked by clients about the future of Resolve (do we look that old!), and how we ensure that Resolve has a long term plan to support Christian schools, charities and churches. We listened, and have been reflecting and exploring options over the last 18 months or so to work through what this might look like. We are so thankful to share with you that after 20 years, the leadership of Resolve will be well served into the future with Matt Fletcher and Anna Phan being appointed as its Directors from early 2025. Paul and David are staying as Associates. There is no change in the vision of Resolve to equip, develop and sustain your organisation for the future, providing you with specialist assistance when and where you need it. With Matt and Anna both being existing staff of Resolve, we are confident that they are instilled with the Resolve values of Integrity, Flexibility, Community, Generosity and Quality.

Be careful!
Recent Case Study from our work at Resolve A large independent school recently received a phone call from their major bank's 'fraud team' to advise that an $18K transaction to a motor dealer from a school credit card was 'suspended' by the bank before release, pending validation from the school as they thought it could be a fraudulent transaction. The bank's 'fraud' team member asked the school to refrain from sharing news of the possible fraud beyond 'what was necessary in-house' while the investigation was underway as an existing staff member who had some level of bank access may be behind the transaction in question. A case number was given as a reference, all creditor payments were paused by the school and over the next 24 hours several phone calls were received from officers in the fraud team providing minor updates along with requesting confirmation of the names and contact phone numbers of the active school banking users. Turns out, the fraud team who contacted the school were in fact the fraudsters! No school money was lost, but banking tokens and a whole bunch of other items were reset before the scam was realised. So be on your guard and verify who indeed is contacting your organisation before taking any action!
