The stoke was real at the Reflections Cadet Cup at Nine Mile Beach at the weekend. The weather was beautiful and the surf conditions cracking. Thanks to our partners Surfest Newcastle for ensuring everything ran like clockwork and to the Reflections team for pitching in to make it all so much fun. The Cup launched in February this year at Rainbow Beach within view of our Bonny Hills holiday park, and was such a success it expanded to a second competition at Tuncurry. What a way to start summer! 🙌🏼🏄🏼♂️🏄♀️ #reflectionscadetcup #lifesbetteroutside

We are Australia's only social enterprise holiday park group, reinvesting profit into NSW Crown Land parks and reserves.
About us
Reflections is Australia's only social enterprise holiday park group, welcoming 2 million day visitors and overnight guests each year. We care for 39 holiday parks, campgrounds and unique accommodation and 45 community Crown reserves in some of the most picturesque parts of coastal and inland New South Wales. We reinvest profit in the 24,188 acres of crown land that we care for on behalf of the people of New South Wales. Each year we generate approximately $98 million in economic value for regional NSW, and we aim to deliver $1.3 billion in cumulative economic value by the end of 2030. Our purpose is to share nature’s playground in a way that gives back to local communities. We measure our success by our quadruple bottom line performance - the social, cultural, environmental and economic outcomes that we deliver in partnership with regional NSW communities. Our guests enjoy escaping into nature and discovering new people and places. Relax in our cottages, tiny homes, cabins and safari glamping tents, or have a caravanning or camping adventure. We are a dynamic and growing team, united around our values: grow together; care deeply; make a difference and say it, do it. We look forward to welcoming you to Reflections!

We’re getting excited about the Reflections Cadet Cup in Tuncurry 🏄♂️🌊🏄♀️ Forster brothers Lakey and Aloha Haddon will likely wind up competing against each other. Lakey is a wild seed entry and Aloha is hoping to get a call up on the day. They have a champion mentor in their dad, Joey, a four-time winner of the Surfest Newcastle Indigenous Surf Classic. The Reflections Cadet Cup expanded this year to two competitions (in Bonny Hills and now Tuncurry) and is held with our partners and friends Surfest Newcastle. The Cup provides the opportunity for young surfers to gain points in their quest to climb the competition ladder and eventually compete in the WSL. Norah Head Lighthouse provided the breathtaking backdrop for a performance by Xavier Rudd and a host of support acts at the annual Lighthouse Festival over the weekend. Thanks to the organisers, and the official catering partner Meantime On The Entrance, for ensuring it was a memorable occasion for everyone who visited. If you didn’t know, Reflections has accommodation at the historic lighthouse cottages and works with volunteers to care for the surrounding reserve. It’s a magical place and worth a visit this summer. #reflectionsholidays #lifesbetteroutside #community #norahheadlighthouse

We couldn't have picked a better weekend for the inaugural Reflections Sustainable Fishing Series launch. Our first event was held at our beautiful Copeton Waters park and attracted more than 130 entries, with about $25,000 in prizes up for grabs. The most rewarding part of the weekend was watching so many young anglers learn how to fish sustainably to protect waterways in the future. Thank you to our partners OzFish Unlimited for imparting your wisdom, and to all of our staff for making it such a successful launch event. Looking forward to the next two Competitions in early 2025 at our Burrinjuck Waters and Lake Keepit parks 🎣🐟 #ReflectionsSustainableFishingSeries #lifesbetteroutside #community

In some regional NSW locations, Reflections Holidays is the hub of the community. So we were pleased to sponsor the recent NSW/ACT Community Awards - hosted by Awards Australia in Sydney - which recognise the wonderful work of community groups and individuals who bring communities together to deliver truly remarkable outcomes. Our CEO Nick Baker shared how important our relationship is with the many communities we operate in. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners. #community #reflectionsholidays

Reflections generated $126M in economic benefit to regional New South Wales communities in FY24. This is one of the highlights covered in our FY24 Year In Review along with so many other achievements that we are equally proud of, including partnering with Councils and organisations to improve community assets, rolling out solar energy across our parks and being recognised for our efforts to reduce water wastage. You’ll also read about the launch of the inaugural Reflections Sustainable Fishing Series and Reflections Cadet Cup series and how our staff held countless activities to raise funds for important community organisations. Not to forget, too, the efforts of our park teams to manage our 40 beautiful holiday parks, camp grounds and unique accommodation, and to care for 45 community reserves across NSW. Congratulations to our team, and thanks to our communities for supporting us. You can read more here: https://lnkd.in/ggfCG-w8 #reflectionsholidays #fy24 #lifesbetteroutside

Many hands make light work and we're pleased to say a recent joint project with Byron Shire Council has enabled our teams to install 28 new solar lights along this picturesque stretch of footpath along Simpsons Creek in our Brunswick Heads park. Our CEO, Nick Baker, notes it was great to partner on this project with Council, who Reflections worked alongside last year to install hot showers at nearby Banner Park Reserve for those sleeping rough. #community #reflectionsholidays

Congratulations to Katie Toney, park manager at Reflections Seal Rocks alongside her husband, Dan. Katie is a finalist in the Employee of the Year category in the Caravan & Camping Industry Association NSW Awards of Excellence and we couldn't be more proud of her. Anyone who has visited "Seals" knows how much the park is the hub of the community, hosting everything from Dawn Service on Anzac Day to Easter and Santa activities and so much more. Katie has worked hard with her team to create a community that is truly special. Good luck Katie, and congratulations to all the finalists! #ccianswawards2024 #employeeoftheyearfinalist #reflectionsholidays

Our customers have been loving our new website as have we since launching back in April. And we're chuffed that the good folk at Good Design Australia feel the same way. We took out Gold in Website Design at the prestigious Good Design Awards on Friday night which is great recognition for the work our team and our partners, Woolly Mammoth have put in. Kudos Chris Stratton (pictured), Matt Plummer, Sam Logan (pictured) Heather van Heerden, Woolly Mammoth team (pictured), Scott McShane and Peter Chapman
