  • 🤩 What a YEAR it's been! Wow, 2024 has absolutely flown by! Looking back, we're so incredibly proud of everything we've achieved, bringing courses, coaching and fun to friends right across this amazing country – from Broome to the Adelaide Hills, and from Brisbane all the way across to Carnarvon! Check out the photos below for a little glimpse into our year. It's been a whirlwind of learning, growth, and connection. From workshops in bustling cities to training sessions in stunning rural towns, we've loved every minute of it. One of the many highlights has to be catching up with so many friends and colleagues at Beef Week 🤠 back in May. (May?! Where has the year gone?!) It feels like just yesterday we were there, sharing stories and enjoying the atmosphere. It's a testament to the strong relationships we've built over the years. These photos are just a small selection of the many incredible moments we've shared with our friends this year. We're so grateful for the opportunity to work with such fantastic people and organisations. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey, wishing you all a Merry Christmas! 🎄 We're already excited for what 2025 has in store. Stay tuned for more updates and exciting news! PS. We'll be closed from December 20, 2024, to Jan 6, 2025. #grazingforprofit #beefweek #bushchristmas #2024 #farmmanagement

  • A bit of Feed Budgeting 101 with RCS' Dom W. and Cal Lawson from VicNoTill Check out the short video taken at the recent GROUNDED Australia field day Fat Pig Farm in Tasmania. Dom and Cal Lawson dive into the world of feed budgeting, breaking down the art of estimating feed availability and grazing management. Key takeaways: 👉 DSE Days per Hectare: Calculating this metric is key. 👉 The Impact of Stocking Rate: Understanding how animal density affects pasture utilisation leads to successful planning. 👉 The Importance of Residual: Knowing the ideal amount of pasture to leave behind is vital. A Special Note from Dom! 🧠 Remember when Feed Budgeting, we are ONLY focused on what we think the animals will eat to maintain the desired performance and leaving behind the desired amount of residual. We are managing for what we want!, so in the example in the video we are saying there are 2500DDH of desirable, palatable food, leaving behind a beautiful residual and adjusting for trample. Feed budgeting is a process of guessing and calibration, the more we do it, the better we get, and the animals will always tell us. We take pride in empowering farmers with the livestock, grazing, and business data they need to run more productive and profitable operations. At the same time, we believe in providing timely resources to support their success. With that in mind, we're thrilled to announce our newest guide: Profitable Pastures: A Guide to Effective Grazing Management. Whether farmers are just beginning their grazing journey or looking to improve their current practices, this guide is designed to support them every step of the way. From key terms and grazing approaches to real-life scenarios, graziers can easily apply the insights shared in this resource. Thank you to RCS Australia and Cibo Labs Pty Ltd for contributing to this guide, and to our partners working with us to develop Foragecaster, Meat & Livestock Australia, University of Technology Sydney QUT (Queensland University of Technology) University of New England (AU), FLINTpro and Food Agility. #agtech #sustainability

Two of our team members, Isobel Davis and Jessica Shipp, spent the week with graziers at RCS Australia's GrazingforProfit course in Townsville, QLD. Both shared how impactful it was to learn about RCS' grazing principles and even had the opportunity to get out into the paddock to apply course-taught feed budgeting practices. Isobel also walked attendees through a session about applying GrazingforProfit® course learnings through digital record keeping and analysis, specifically using AgriWebb and our newest grazing planning and feed budgeting features. As partners of RCS Australia, every Farming & GrazingforProfit® and #GrazingforProfit® course moving forward will feature an AgriWebb-centric bonus session that shows attendees how they can align course learnings with powerful record keeping habits and grazing tools that lead to business-changing insights. #grazingmanagement #agtech #partnerships
