    Laying the Foundation for Successful Change: Phase 1 “Prepare Approach” Stage in the Prosci Change Management In today’s ever evolving enterprise environments, effective change management is critical for achieving strategic goals. At the heart of this process lies the “Prepare Approach” stage, the first phase of Prosci’s 3-stage Change Management Methodology. This foundational stage focuses on defining the roadmap for success, ensuring every action aligns with measurable outcomes. Here’s how this phase sets the stage for a well-executed change initiative:      1.  Define Success: Success begins with clarity. What are the desired outcomes for this change? Are they tied to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, or organisational growth? Establishing clear metrics ensures alignment across all stakeholders and provides a benchmark to measure progress.      2.   Define Impact: Change doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it affects people, processes, and systems. During this step, we analyse how the initiative will impact teams, workflows, and the enterprise as a whole. Identifying risks and dependencies early ensures smoother transitions and better adoption.      3.  Define Approach: Tailoring the change management strategy is key. This step involves building a structured, scalable, and adaptable approach that aligns with organisational culture and capacity. By meticulously planning in this stage, organisations can mitigate resistance, ensure stakeholder buy-in, and create a roadmap that maximises the value of their change initiatives.
