Markets reacted positively to his promises of tax cuts and reduced regulation. Global markets were mixed, with European equities varied, Japan’s Nikkei falling, and emerging markets declining. In Australia, the share market rose 3.4%, while the Reserve Bank kept the cash rate at 4.35%, focusing on inflation control. We have made significant strides since acquiring Active Utilities in October 2023, Australia’s largest independent provider of local utility networks. In March, Active merged with another Prime Super investment, Savant Energy. United under one banner, they offer comprehensive energy solutions, including sourcing and installing PV solar and battery farms, for multi-tenanted communities across Australia. And this is just the beginning. Today, Prime Super is Active’s default super fund. CEO Lisa Dowie, GAICD shares, “We realised we could benefit from our superannuation being managed by Prime Super. More importantly, we wanted to make sure that our teams had a super fund that was there for them, one that would help them get the most beneficial superannuation outcomes throughout their working lives.” Lisa also shares her vision for our future partnership: 💜 Exploring options for Active Utilities to source renewable energy from Prime Super assets, such as the Chepstowe Wind Farm. 💜 Evaluating how Active Utilities can provide energy solutions for Prime Super-owned buildings. 💜 Recognising our shared commitment to serving Australia’s ageing population with efficient and affordable energy solutions. Congratulations Meredith King on your graduation from the National Farmers' Federation Diversity in Agricultural Leadership Program. We would also like thank our Board Member Allison Harker for mentoring future leaders of tomorrow and contributing to diverse leadership within agriculture. At the graduation ceremony Merri shared, "Effective leadership is not always the loudest voice in the room. It works quietly everyday ensuring spaces are created for the right voices to be elevated." Thank you for your dedication to this program and we are excited to see you continue to flourish in this space. #WomeninAgriculture #AusAg #SuperWithHeart
It’s been an absolute privilege to be a part of the National Farmers Federation 2024 cohort participating in their Diversity in Agricultural Leadership programme. The opportunity to connect with such a stellar group of women has been a game changer. I’d particularly like to thank my mentor Allison Harker and Prime Super for their support of the programme. Rebecca (Bec) Wilde and Steffie Vaiphei your leadership guiding us over the past few months and pulling together the programme has been extraordinary. Fiona Simson you continue to be a role model for all of us working across agriculture by holding the door open for us to walk through. Thank you. And finally thank you to my employer McDonald's for the support and encouragement to participate. I’d encourage any woman working in agriculture to think about applying - it’s been a truly wonderful experience. #nff #womeninag #leadership #agriculture
