We raised $290,000 for My Room Children’s Cancer Charity What an incredible journey!  From riding 240km to Bairnsdale to kayaking down the Mitchell River and revisiting our roots at the original Patties Bakery to braving 19km hikes in New Zealand and finishing with a 10km coastal run at Scarborough Beach, the Patties Expedition has been nothing short of extraordinary. Along the way, we’ve been united by one mission: supporting MyRoom in the fight against childhood cancer. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible—your donations, encouragement, and unwavering support have helped us raise an incredible $290,000 for MyRoom! ❤️ This achievement is a testament to the power of community and the shared belief in making a difference. My Room Expedition Update | Final Day The final day of the Patties Expedition was nothing short of inspiring! The team kicked things off early heading to Scarborough Beach's iconic Esplanade, where they laced up for a 10km coastal run. Running in two waves, the team pushed through with determination, cheered on by Team Patties in Perth, who lined the esplanade with unwavering encouragement. The run wrapped up with a celebratory breakfast, bringing everyone together to reflect on the incredible journey and the deeply meaningful work they’re doing—raising vital funds to fight childhood cancer through My Room Children’s Cancer Charity. My Room Expedition Update | Day 5 Day 5 of the Patties Expedition was nothing short of breathtaking! The team kicked off their 19km hike bright and early at 7:30am from Onehunga Reserve, immersing themselves in the stunning beauty of New Zealand's native trees, wildlife, and yes—a few friendly sheep along the way! The journey took them through the picturesque Cornwall Park and up to the summit of Mt Eden & One Tree Hill, where they were rewarded with incredible panoramic views of Auckland. They also hiked through the lush Domain Park before completing their cross-island trek at the vibrant Auckland Viaduct. What an unforgettable way to experience the width of New Zealand's North Island! The team ended with a BBQ Lunch at Patties NZ where they continue to drive for donations and celebrate with the team. My Room Expedition Update | Day 3 Day three of the Patties Expedition was nothing short of extraordinary! The day kicked off with an adventurous 9km tandem kayak down the Mitchell River. The team then gathered in our Bairnsdale Bakery for a well-earned lunch, where the Bairnsdale Team proudly presented their fundraising initiatives for My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, joined by Harry Rijs, one of the original founders of Patties. Next up was a visit to historic Lakes Entrance, the site of the original Patties Bakery — a poignant reminder of our roots. The team were honoured to be joined for the day by Lincoln Pan, Partner, Co-Head Private Equity of PAG & Board Director of Patties Foods, adding even more energy to the day. Tomorrow, the journey takes them across the Tasman to New Zealand, where the journey continues. My Room Expedition Update | Day 1 What a start! At the crack of dawn—5am to be exact—the Executive Leadership Team launched into day one of the Patties Expedition! They officially kicked off from our Pakenham site, with the inspiring Margaret Zita OAM from My Room Children’s Cancer Charity joining them in the chilly early hours to send the team off in style. Despite the weather serving up its own challenges, the crew has powered through wind and rain with incredible determination, rolling into Bairnsdale at 6pm as planned. Their energy? Unstoppable.
