Updates

  • We had a very special visitor pass to hand out today at Ann St! Tabcorp are very proud to sponsor our own Smart Pup, the aptly named, Max! As you can see, everyone was very happy to “paws” their work to meet her. Just 6 months old, Max is a “GRAB” (Golden Retriever cross Labrador), and she’ll be making a huge difference once she’s fully trained, providing life-changing assistance to children with special needs. A huge thank you to Smart Pups Assistance Dogs representatives Jess and Nikki for visiting us and doing such a great job with Max. If you’d like to learn more about Smart Pups, check out their website: smartpups.org.au

  • Last Thursday, more than 110 venue partners, manufacturers and service providers descended on our Scoresby site for the MAX Open Day and Community Clubs Victoria (CCV) Gaming Forum. This was an incredible opportunity to connect with current and future customers, and share insights, trends and updates on some of MAX’s key products and services. We also heard from panelists and special guest speakers, including the Victorian Labor Minister for Casino, Gaming and Liquor Regulation, Melissa Horne; Chairman and President of CCV, Greg Roberts; Simone A Cusack and Maria Marantos from the Department of Justice and Community Safety; and our friends from IGT, Light & Wonder, and Konami Gaming, Inc. Attendees also got a rare opportunity to take a look behind the scenes during an exclusive tour of our Scoresby facility. Thank you to all attendees, panelists, and special guests for a fantastic day.

  • How’s that for a backdrop? Last Monday evening MAX treated industry suppliers, venue partners, and Hospitality NT members to drinks, canapes and fire twirling, as the sun set over the beautiful grounds of the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. This was the perfect precursor to Tuesday evening’s Hospitality NT Awards for Excellence, where the best of the industry were recognised for their stellar efforts over the last 12 months. It was a record attendance for the territory’s night of nights. See you next year!

  • “PulseLive pagers have enhanced the gaming room experience at Harrup Park, improving our service significantly. These devices are now essential for our staff, offering instant notifications for important events like a birthday, first play, VIP status, and machine faults. This real-time information enables our team to provide personalized service more efficiently and consistently. PulseLive's proactive approach to harm minimization assists in creating a safer gaming environment for our patrons. By alerting our staff to signs of fatigue or excessive play, we can intervene promptly and ensure the well-being of our guests. It's a crucial aspect of our commitment to responsible gaming practices and has been well-received by both our staff and patrons alike. PulseLive enables us to monitor the speed at which our patrons are attended to. By tracking response times, we can identify areas for improvement and ensure a consistently high standard of service across all interactions. It's clear that these pagers have not only improved the overall experience for our patrons but have also elevated the standard of service we strive to deliver at Harrup Park.” Charles Gray – Operations and Events Coordinator, Harrup Park
