🌟 #LivingWorks in 2024: A Year in Review 🌟 Together, we reached incredible milestones this year. With the dedication of our Global Trainer Network, we delivered over 11,300 in-person LivingWorks safeTALK and LivingWorks ASIST workshops across 38 countries, training more than 181,000 individuals to prevent suicide. Coupled with 31,000 people completing LivingWorks Start online training, that’s over 212,000 lives impacted by #SuicidePrevention education in 2024. 💙 Our journey doesn’t stop here — 2025 promises even greater strides as we continue to empower #SaferFromSuicide communities and build #NetworksOfSafety worldwide. 📖 Read more about our achievements, milestones, and vision for the future in our Year in Review blog post.

Welcome our new safeTALK trainers today in Newcastle! These champions from MATES in Construction, NSW Health, NSW Department of Education, Flourish Australia, Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) and St John of God Health Care just completed the safeTALK T4T with coach Lindy Macgregor. Ready to deliver accredited, suicide alertness skills training to their workplaces, schools and communities. #safeTALK #suicideprevention #mentalhealth

Great news! Schools in Victoria can now access LivingWorks Australia training through the Victorian Schools Mental Health Menu. LivingWorks ASIST and safeTALK training for staff and senior students is available, as well as funding to train teachers to deliver these programs through our Train the Trainer (T4T) program. Schools can pool their funding to host workshops or T4Ts, and access the training to develop school communities safer from suicide through evidence-based suicide prevention skills. Renee Tsatsis is the LivingWorks Training Manager for Victoria and is available to answer questions and help schools plan their training. Ali Faraj is a LivingWorks Australia safeTALK trainer, an Australian Mental Health Prize winner, the General Manager of Community for the GWS GIANTS, a Muslim leader and a father of 4 (I’m tired just from typing all of that!).
