Lincoln zeroes in on high-priority SA uranium targets

We've completed initial fieldwork at the Yallunda Uranium Project, identifying multiple high-priority targets based on a 7km surface anomaly. Assay results from the program are expected in January 2025, with further sampling planned for February to refine drilling targets ahead of a potential maiden drill campaign later in the year. This progress strengthens our strategic positioning in the clean energy sector amid rising uranium demand and improved market outlook. CEO Jonathon Trewartha commented: “Completion of fieldwork at Yallunda reaffirms our commitment to highlight the high-quality uranium assets within our substantial South Australian exploration portfolio. The early observations are highly encouraging, and we are eager to advance this project to be drill ready. As global uranium demand continues to rise, Lincoln Minerals remains focused on delivering value for shareholders and contributing to the clean energy transition, with an expectation that the growing prospectivity of our Uranium portfolio will lead to a successful outcome for the thirdparty funding process that has commenced and is due for completion in early 2025.” Read the full ASX Announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gh28pFca #ASX #ASXNews #LML #LincolnMinerals #uranium #exploration #cleanenergy #Yallunda

We've expanded our strategic footprint on the Eyre Peninsula with the granting of Exploration Licence EL7020 at Yallunda Flat, ~15km west-northwest of Tumby Bay in South Australia. This tenement adds to our portfolio of prospective areas for graphite, uranium, and base metals, leveraging proximity to known deposits but with no prior drilling recorded. Exploration activities on EL7020 are planned for H2FY25 and will align with ongoing work at Minbrie, where results included 𝟏𝟐𝐦 @ 𝟏.𝟒% 𝐂𝐮, 𝟏𝟐.𝟒% 𝐏𝐛, 𝟐.𝟎% 𝐙𝐧 & 𝟏𝟑 𝐠/𝐭 𝐀𝐠. As demand for graphite heats up, especially in the battery sector, global supply chains face growing challenges. With China's recent restrictions on graphite exports, the need for secure, ex-China supply sources has never been clearer. At Lincoln Minerals, our Kookaburra Graphite Project on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula is positioned to address this supply gap. With a staged development strategy and plans to reach a Decision to Mine by late 2025, we're committed to contributing to a sustainable and independent graphite supply for the global energy transition. China’s escalating restrictions on critical mineral exports, including antimony, gallium, germanium, and graphite, are disrupting global supply chains, leaving Western industries scrambling for alternatives. This reinforces the importance of developing local, secure sources of critical minerals like graphite. Our Kookaburra Graphite Project in South Australia is poised to address these challenges, offering a sustainable, ex-China supply chain for this essential battery material. With China currently accounting for over 70% of both natural and synthetic graphite supply, diversification is critical to ensure stability in the global energy transition. https://lnkd.in/gumTgpHY #CriticalMinerals #Graphite #EnergyTransition #KookaburraGraphite #MiningAustralia #ASX #LML #LincolnMinerals
