Equitable access to justice. Empowering women & children to break the cycle of domestic & family violence.

About us

Justice Support Centre is a community organisation that provides free legal services and domestic and family violence services to people around Sydney. Our vision: A future in which there is equality of access to justice, and women and children are free from domestic and family violence. Our purposes: Providing equitable and accessible legal services to our community and empowering women and children to break the cycle of domestic and family violence. When we started in 1986, we had a small budget a part-time staff of two. Now we are one of the larger domestic and family violence services in NSW. We provide services to people living or working in the local government areas of Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown. We now also deliver some services in the Eastern Suburbs, Sydney City, and the Inner West. We are supported by a diverse a committed team with expertise across a range of disciplines. This allows us to deliver a range of services: • legal services • community legal education • a range of support and case management services to women and children who have experienced domestic and family violence. Our legal centre is a registered charity, accredited by the National Association of Community Legal Centres and we are a member of Community Legal Centres NSW.
