  • Last month, we were honoured to be nominated as the charity beneficiary for this year's Fitzys Feast Luncheon, and what a fantastic event it was! 💙 A great afternoon of stories provided by two legends of the Rugby League world, Shane Webcke & Darren Lockyer as they took turns in interviewing each other, most with a cheeky dig included! With great raffle and auction prizes on offer including a huge wine package, lunch for two at Spicers Peak, a night at the Crown Plaza on the Gold Coast, framed jersey's donated by Jefo, limited edition Darren Lockyer signed rum and a Brisbane Heat package it's no wonder that the attendees dug deep. Altogether they helped raise an incredible $28,000 for the Foundation so that we can provide funding for essential services and research that tackle prostate cancer. A big thank you to Brad Fitzgibbons & the entire Fitzy's Toowoomba team and all who participated and donated.

  • The Q Project Toolbox near Purga was a great success! Ruth and Mick had the chance to educate FKG employees and subcontractors about Prostate Cancer. A big thank you to FKG for inviting us and providing this valuable educational experience. Despite the scorching heat and the Friday before a long weekend, we’re grateful to everyone who stayed back for some heartfelt conversations with us! 💙

  • Earlier this month Ruth and Mick visited the head office of Consolidated Pastoral Company to speak with the executive staff about Prostate Cancer. Ruth followed on by presenting a report from her recent trip to 8 CPC Properties in Northern Queensland, the Northern Territory and up into WA. Another great awareness and education initiative delivering vital health information about Prostate Cancer to men and women working in rural and very remote places. We know that these men are 24% more likely to have poor outcomes when diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Early diagnosis will help to save lives in the bush!
