"Build it and they will come" isn't always true for new website builds. This is why Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is key to growing your presence on Google and reaching new customers. _The Challenge This was the case for our client, Subi Derm. Who initially engaged us to build their website and develop a whole new brand. Once the website went live, we recommended ongoing SEO to help the new website get traction. It was decided by the client that, at the time, SEO wasn’t a priority. However, due to it being a completely new website and brand, after two months, they realised their website wasn’t appearing in as many search results as they were wanting, and potential clients were struggling to find them online. That’s when Subi Derm returned to us for SEO assistance. IMPORTANT: We are always transparent and upfront with our clients that while we do build new websites to be SEO-friendly, it's recommended to do a 3-month foundational SEO package after it goes live to kickstart the traction on Google. _Our Approach We started with comprehensive keyword research to identify terms relevant to their local audience and services. Our on-page optimisation focused on content relevance and meta elements to improve search engine visibility. To build domain authority, we ensured that Subi Derm were listed on all high authority industry websites, as the client moved away from another organisation to start her own practice. In addition, we strengthened Subi Derm’s local presence by optimising their Google Business Profile and targeting location-specific search terms to attract local clients. _The Results Over time, Subi Derm experienced remarkable improvements: An increase of 124.7% organic traffic. 88% of focus keywords now rank on the first page of Google. 70% of those focus keywords are within the top 5 results. This ongoing growth reflects the power of strategic SEO in boosting visibility and attracting more clients, ensuring that Subi Derm stays competitive in a crowded online landscape.
