The stage 2 project includes the construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of tunnels from under Birchgrove, through to the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney and tunnelling under Sydney Harbour. A huge thank you to Matt Condon and David Zorzi from InfraBuild, Australia’s only fully vertically-integrated steel manufacturer, for organising an inspiring factory tour in Rooty Hill on this Tuesday.   From the scrap yard to the electric arc furnace and rolling mill, we observed the impressive manufacturing procedure. Starting with shredding scrapped metal materials coming from trains, cars, fridges, washing machines and the removal of non-ferrous metals. Through to the melting of the scrap in the furnace and the transformation into high-quality steel. On Monday, we gathered at Business NSW to mark ICN NSW’s 40th Anniversary, a milestone celebrating four decades of empowering NSW businesses! Over 100 attendees joined us, including distinguished VIPs from government, industry leaders, and local SMEs to reflect on ICN’s remarkable journey of connecting businesses to opportunities and driving local growth.
