I’m honoured to have been a finalist for the CIBSE ANZ Jeff Robinson Champion of the Year Award. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who nominated and supported me. Huge congratulations to Liana and Jeff for the incredible work you do for young engineers. It’s been a fantastic year, with the CIBSE two-day hydraulics course making a strong impact. We’ve delivered it across SA, QLD, NSW, VIC, NZ, and online for WA. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of all the subject matter experts, the team in NZ, and of course, Sharron. A special thanks to you, Sharon Pestonji for bringing it all together! Thanks to my partner and friends Jennifer Baldwin Paul Angus Gillian Donaldson for a fun night together.

Andrew Le Claire hit the Hydraulic Consultants Association Australasia Ltd General Meeting in the ACT this week, and it was a cracker of a turnout with consultants, contractors, and plenty of familiar faces from the industry. Carl Sommerville, who heads up the HCAA ACT, kept things lively with a quiz – first question: "How long has Halgan been around?" (Hint: a while!) It was great catching up with Joshua & Mitch from Vital Design. Wayne from Custom Plumbing and Ray from O'Neill & Brown were there too – and yep, Ray took home another prize. Lucky guy! #HCAA #Halgan #AussieMade #IndustryMates #GoodTimes
