SunCable is very pleased to announce that we have received Conditional Approval from Singapore’s electricity regulator, the Energy Market Authority (EMA), to import green electricity. This approval follows a comprehensive assessment by the EMA which has found the Australia-Asia Power Link to be technically and commercially viable.   This is a critical step, bringing us closer to delivering 1.75GW of green energy to Singapore, helping decarbonise and diversify its power grid, and boosting its energy security and resilience. This supply is in addition to 4GW which will remain in Darwin to power green industry. By demonstrating the viability of our project, we can continue development activities, further grow our relationship with Indonesia, and progress commercial discussions with industrial customers in Singapore. #singapore #renewables #HVDC
