As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on an incredible year of fighting hunger together. Here’s what we’ve achieved as a community: 🌱 27 Fresh Produce Pop-Ups, bringing healthy food directly to those who need it. 🍎 School Breakfast 4 Health Programs for over 700 schools, ensuring kids start their day nourished and ready to learn. 🌏 Rapid responses to natural disasters across NSW & ACT, providing vital food relief. 🤝 Over 50 corporate volunteers packed orders and hampers, making a tangible difference. 💜 Continued partnerships with 700+ community partners, working together to fight hunger. Last night we attended the Christmas Celebration at Carevan Blacktown Inc. 🎄💜💚 It was a night filled with joy, fun and the festive spirit catering to almost 200 people to give back to the local community members. Carevan Blacktown hosted a beautiful Sunday roast accompanied by a live singer, and topped off with gifts and Foodbank Christmas hampers for all, handed out by Santa! This year, we’ve brought food to communities far and wide, reaching so many in need. 💜✨ Hosting 27 Fresh Produce Pop-Ups across NSW and the ACT has only been possible thanks to the incredible efforts of our partners, volunteers and supporters. For our final Fresh Produce Pop-Up of 2024, we teamed up with the incredible Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) to give back to the wonderful community in Young! We distributed up to 7,000 kgs of fresh fruit, veggies and pantry staple, equating to over 10,000 meals out to local families to give a helping hand just in time for the holiday season.
