Korean wine enthusiasts tap into South Australia's top drops 🍷🤩 The Department of State Development’s Korea in-market and SA teams were delighted to partner with TapShopBar - one of Korea’s most popular wine retailers and bars - to deliver a premium South Australian wine retail promotion. Held across 4 TapShopBar locations (DongDaeMoon, CheonGye, DoSan, and Yeouido), the month-long showcase featured 10 SA wine brands and 7 Korean importers, with 16 dedicated taps exclusively pouring South Australian wines for tastings. Consumers enjoyed a curated food and South Australian wine pairing menu designed by TapShopBar experts, and a talk concert hosted by wine columnist Jin-won Yang and sommelier JungIn Lee, blending engaging stories, discussions, and SA wine insights. Along with overwhelmingly positive in-market feedback, the promotion translated into impressive sales for our South Australian wine producers: 🍾 1,952 bottles sold 📈 Achieving KRW 69,979,887 in sales (approx. AU$76.9k) The immersive month-long campaign gave Korean customers, wine influencers, and media the chance to experience the very best of South Australian wine. We'll raise a glass to that!
