Former ADF personnel Doug Griffiths & Kaz Gladysz have been named team Australia co-captains for Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. "Your package has arrived!" 📦 The Australian Army finally have their hands on the new M1A2 system enhancement package version 3 main battle tanks after they arrived in 📍 Bandiana, Victoria. The new US-led field maintenance new equipment training course is a blend of how US maintainers and Australian soldiers work with the M1 family. Lightning Strikes in the Top End. ⚡ An F-35A Lightning II from Number 2 Operational Conversion Unit visited Cairns for the first time. The ADF has quickly mobilised Royal Australian Air Force assets to transport an Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade-led crisis response team, and assist with deployment preparations, answering the Government of Vanuatu's request for assistance after the 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Port Vila on 17 December.
