𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🎉😍 This morning, the Public Sector CSA Agreement 2024 was registered in the WA Industrial Relations Commission. This means that members under the PSCSA 2024 will be covered by new clauses that take effect from this date, including expanded access to parental leave, earlier access to conversion to permanency provisions, a raft of regional entitlements and so much more. We sincerely thank our bargaining team whose dedication and persistance helped see this outcome through and congratulate each and every one of our members whose commitment to sharing their stories, taking strong collective action and building power in their workplaces helped us achieve this tremendous outcome. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗔 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗖) 🎉 This means that members under this Agreement are one step closer to accessing the new and improved entitlements you campaigned for in 2024, which will come into effect upon registration. Importantly, as per advice issued to departments and agencies by GSLR on 25 October 2024, the payment of backpay to 13 June 2024 and your first pay increase of 5% can now be actioned by your payroll department. We recognise that this timing presents a challenge for some agency payroll processes over the holiday period, and we urge all members to support your payroll colleagues who will no doubt be doing the best they can to have your back-pay and pay rise processed as soon as possible. After all, it's their pay and conditions too! Work is still ongoing for our Satellite Agreements and we will be in communication as soon as any developments occur.

𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀) 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲! 🗳 After being endorsed by delegates, the first offer for Residential College members has been put to ballot. Although the ballot has not yet reached its official close date (Wed 18 Dec) we wish to communicate the current status of the ballot with our members before the end of term and holiday break period begins. As of 1pm Thursday, 12 December 62% of members have voted, with 95% percent of those members voting to accept the offer. These numbers are sufficient to determine the outcome of the ballot as any remaining votes cannot reverse or alter the outcome. As such, we are pleased to announce the offer for the Department of Education (Residential College Supervisors) Agreement 2024 has been ACCEPTED. The ballot will officially close next week, at which time we will formally communicate the outcome to the Department. Our industrial team has already begun drafting the final clauses so that the agreement can be registered with the WAIRC as soon as possible.
