Meet Ben Taylor of ‘Noonameena’ Condamine. He's one of 4000 cotton and grain growers and spray contractors taking advantage of the most advanced hazardous inversion-sensing technology in the world – WAND – saving him time and money. WAND (Weather and Networked Data) is a world-first weather data system to help minimise spray drift and the damage it causes to food and fibre crops and the environment. Developed by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). CRDC and Goanna Ag, WAND helps growers understand when they can (and cannot) spray by distinguishing a hazardous surface temperature inversion from a non-hazardous one in real-time, as well as providing an accurate two or 24-hour forecast. It's world-leading technology to solve one of agriculture's wicked challenges, and it was developed right here in Australia. >>> https://lnkd.in/gvrdnecs #worldfirst #groundbreaking #agtech #innovation #spraydrift #Ausag
