As a part of our ongoing commitment to support victims of domestic and family violence (DFV), we are continually working to improve the support we provide to both our customers and employees affected by DFV and technology-facilitated abuse (Tech Abuse). That's why we are very proud to be involved in the "Love Is" Tech Abuse Awareness Campaign in conjunction with the Telco Together Foundation. Tech abuse is highly prevalent, yet poorly understood. It causes significant psychological harm, including anxiety, depression, and trauma for victims, with profound impacts on children involved. Let's better understand tech abuse and drive change! 💪 #TelcoTogether #TechAbuse #WorkforceEmpowerment
The “Love Is” Tech Abuse Awareness campaign goes beyond raising awareness; it's about equipping our telecommunications workforce to take meaningful action. Thanks to the leadership and action of our members, who have wholeheartedly embraced this initiative, we've rolled out specialised training programs with eSafety Commissioner. These programs empower employees across the sector to better understand tech-facilitated harm and provide the crucial support victims need. We are incredibly proud of our members, Telstra, TPG Telecom, Optus, Aussie Broadband, Superloop, Indara, More, Tangerine, Uniti Group Pty Ltd, and Vocus Group for their commitment to driving change and ensuring that their teams are equipped to address tech abuse at every level. Together, we’re fostering a safer environment for all Australians and creating lasting, positive impact. #WorkforceEmpowerment #TechAbuse #TelcoTogether #EmployeeTraining

In 2022, Corp Centre was invited by Telco Together Foundation to join a collaborative industry initiative aimed at addressing domestic and family violence. This invitation sparked our journey with Telco Together's Industry Impact Hub, leading to the inception of Corp Centre's DFV Action Plan. Over the past two years, our engagement with this initiative has been enlightening, empowering us with the knowledge to make a positive difference in tackling domestic and family violence. #EndDV #CommunityImpact
Aussie telcos take action against Domestic and Family Violence (DFV). Corp Centre have recently completed their Adapt Action Plan Report to demonstrate their commitment to supporting their customers and employees affected by domestic violence. "Corp Centre's commitment to the Telco Together Foundation spans over a decade, embodying the essence of collaboration for the greater good. The vision of Telco companies setting aside differences in pursuit of collective impact has always been a no brainer for me. By educating all Corp Centre staff to recognize and address such situations, we equip our team to take proactive measures when needed. Simply raising awareness among our staff, partners, and business customers can yield significant impact. I've long believed in businesses leading the charge in making positive community impacts. " - Peter Durning, Managing Director, Corp Centre This report reaffirms their commitment to continual improvement to support not only their customers and staff but also to illustrate the role of the wider business community in embedding a person-centred and trauma-informed approach in the delivery of products and services to best minimize harm where possible. 👏 Submitting a DFV Report to the Telco Together Foundation marks the completion of steps stipulated in the DFV Action Framework. The Framework provides a structured process for any Australian telco, regardless of size or type, to develop an Action Plan with an integrated approach to addressing this abuse through policy, strategy, training, and greater awareness about Tech Abuse. 🤝 By taking the DFV Pledge, telcos are making a commitment to continuous improvement, which includes submitting an Annual Update. Reports and updates are signed by the telco CEO and checked for completeness against the full required criteria by the Telco Together Foundation. 💡 For information on how you, as a telco, can get involved, contact Carin Lavery via carin@telcotogether.org or visit industryimpacthub.org #EndDV #CommunityImpact #TelcoTogether #FamilyViolence #DomesticAbuse #ImpactHub #SocialImpact

This time 2 weeks ago, myself and Daniel Sazdanoff had the privilege of attending the Access4 conference in Queenstown! And it was a cracker 💥!! I'm genuinely excited about the value that Access4 can add to our customer solutions! Innovative and clever solutions, coupled with hungry and passionate people that can make a real difference 👌! Massive congrats to Tim Jackson and Scott Carter on the acquisition of Channel UC, seeing Brad Milne and Matt Milne join the Access4 team. Clever move, that I've no doubt will make Access4 stronger than ever! I even managed a cheeky dip in Lake Wakatipu🥶😀! #corpcentre #access4
