Last Sunday, some of our CorePlus team took on the World’s Toughest Half Marathon - Point To Pinnacle. It was tough. But not as tough as what brain cancer patients go through every day.⁠ ⁠ Together, we have raised over $20,000. If you’d like to donate, there’s still time. Like all cancers, brain cancer is horrible. For context, it kills more people under 40 than any other cancer. CorePlus Studios has partnered with Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer Foundation to raise awareness for brain cancer, and money for brain cancer research. Oh and part of this means some of us will be participating in the World’s Toughest Road Half Marathon on 17 November. So, what do we know? We know brain cancer needs a cure. We know a cure will come from research. And we know research costs money. We also know our community is a powerful one. It got us wondering – what if everyone* donated $5? Could we discover the power of the collective $5? Answer: Yes! While we aim to prioritise our mental health every day, today being World Mental Health Day gives us a reason to talk about it (and prioritise it) even more. As a business built on community and connection, the theme of 'meaningful connection' - to loved ones, to community, to colleagues, to Country, to self - struck a chord with us. A beautiful excuse to take some extra time (always, but especially today!) to connect with yourself and those you love. Some mindful movement could do the trick!
